Your favourite Rabbitohs players will be hopping along to Eveleigh Farmers’ Market on Saturday, 23 April 2011 for some Easter fun.

The Rabbitohs’ players Scott Geddes and Ben Low are looking forward to meeting Eveleigh Farmers’ Market shoppers to create some Easter atmosphere with Easter eggs for the kids and the opportunity to get autographs and photos.

Scott Geddes from the Rabbitohs is pleased to be involved saying: “Eveleigh Farmers’ Market is an important community initiative and we are looking forward to getting involved in the spirit of Easter and meeting some of our fans.

“Eveleigh Market also aligns with our Souths Cares Program to promote healthy eating and I can’t wait to try for myself some of the fresh food on offer.”

Along with the visit from the Rabbitohs, Eveleigh Farmers’ Market will be offering lots of local, Australian produce straight from the farm to make your Easter an enjoyable and tasty one including locally produced meats, free range eggs, fresh fruit and vegetables and organic produce plus gourmet sweet & savoury treats.

Ariana Aljinovic, Eveleigh Market Manager, is thrilled that the Rabbitohs will be visiting Eveleigh Market saying, “Eveleigh Farmers’ Market has a great community atmosphere and with the Rabbitohs players visiting for Easter, the kids and adults alike will be able to really enjoy themselves and soak up some Easter fun.”

Eveleigh Market is held every Saturday from 8am to 1pm in the heritage listed Blacksmith’s Workshop at 248 Wilson St, Darlington.

Eveleigh Market is a community initiative of Australian Technology Park.
